As we reflect on the past year and think about how we are going to about 2022 differently, the person we are can't be the person we want to be. This is the main theme of our 8 Week Anxiety, Nutrition, and Movement Workshop. Dieting is tricky, dealing with stress is even trickier. Add movement and working out to that equation and it sounds overwhelming. Well, it doesn't have to be. These elements work against one another but they also work together, you just have to know what you are looking at. More importantly, what signals in the body are trying to tell you?
Dieting and nutrition are viewed into too narrow of a scope to be successful. This is just changing the food and not the person. We eat the way we do to change the way we feel to our stress. It is the way we behave towards stress that makes it complicated. Movement and exercise are opportunities to change our behavior towards stress.
We are going to make dealing with anxiety, nutrition, and movement actionable at your own pace. Between counting calories or macros, restricting yourself to a list of foods to eat or avoid, or dreading workouts you don't want to do, is it any wonder people get more stressed out than when we started and end up failing? Learn to recognize where you are at so you can know what you can do next.
The workshop is going to be held on Sundays at 9am starting January 16th. The meetings will both be in-person at Ares Athletic Club/CrossFit A-Game and a recorded zoom call to accommodate everyone interested.
